Clue_land

Description

Welcome to Clue_land, a thrilling program for children aged 4.5 to 7 years old, where they become detectives to solve various missions! This week, our theme revolves around cognitive flexibility, cooperation skills, and working memory to crack the case.

Our objectives are:

  • Foster cognitive flexibility by encouraging children to think outside the box and to put various information together!

  • Enhance cooperation skills through teamwork to solve problems.

  • Strengthen working memory by remembering clues from previous questions.

2

Suitability

Clueland is tailored for children who:

  • Struggle to describe things in different ways.

  • Have difficulty putting multiple pieces of information together.

  • Often forget what just happened.

  • Find it challenging to be patient with delayed rewards until the task is completed.

3

Routine

Our daily schedule is designed to be both educational and adventurous:

  • Circle Time: Start the day with a fresh morning meeting to set the tone for collaboration and flexible thinking.

  • Mission Related Learning Time: Review vocabulary and concepts necessary for solving today's mission.

  • Solve the Mystery/Escape Room: Engage in a structured problem-solving activity, either individually or in small groups.

  • Snack Time: A chance for social interaction in a relaxed setting.

  • Scavenger's Hunt with Different Themes: Apply cognitive flexibility and cooperation skills in a fun, themed hunt.

  • Free Time: Unstructured time for children to celebrate for cracking our mission

  • Lunch Time: A time to refuel and share experiences.

  • Dismissal: Wrapping up the day with a sense of achievement.
